It develops each space with creativity, always allying functionality with safety. Each detail is thoroughly studied before being executed in order to maintain the harmony and functionality of each ambience.

Renata Gramicelli

It all began in 1997, when Renata Gramiceli graduated with a degree in Interior Design and Arts. Since then, she has completed numerous projects in Brazil, always focusing on creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

After relocating to Florida, Renata founded a residential and commercial painting company in 2012. Since then, she has been actively involved as a manager, providing customer support, overseeing material procurement, supervising job sites, and offering color consulting services.

In 2017, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in South Florida and founded A&R Essential Design, expanding her services to include comprehensive interior design projects.

Now entering a new phase with a renewed identity, the company has rebranded as Upper Design — a name that reflects growth, transformation, and sophistication. This new identity also highlights the company’s focus on high-end design services, featuring premium materials, refined aesthetics, and a luxury design experience.

This evolution comes with a very special partnership: a professional collaboration with a longtime friend and fellow college alum. Together, they combine complementary expertise and creative visions to deliver even more personalized and innovative solutions.
